[Jazz Improvisation System]
Solo Engine Explorer
The solo engine explorer allows you to generate improvisation solos using elements of device, song, device usage and chord libraries.
Important Notes:
This applet is about 100k in size and may take up to one minute to load over modem connections.
Pressing the play button sends the solo to the web server, which encodes it and returns it to the applet as a .au format audio file.
The .au file is big and this may take over three minutes to hear audio after clicking the play button.
New Solos may be generated by pressing the "rerun" button. Songs can be changed by changing the drop down menu.
You can browse the source for the SoloEngine and SoloEngineExplorer to get more detail.
The SoloEngine also makes use of the various libraries created, namely the DeviceLibrary, ChordLibrary, SongLibrary, and the DeviceUsageLibrary.
You can also review the various library explorers in previous demos.
